Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of KXM Knoxville Masonry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Services

KXM Knoxville Masonry provides professional masonry contracting services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney work, stone installation, tuckpointing, retaining walls, patios, walkways, and related masonry services. All services are provided subject to availability and scheduling.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. All estimates and quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are subject to change without notice. We provide written estimates before beginning work. Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement. We accept payment by cash, check, or credit card unless otherwise specified.

A deposit may be required for larger projects before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work unless other payment arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

Project Timeline and Changes

We will provide an estimated timeline for your project. While we make every effort to complete work on schedule, timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, unforeseen conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

Any changes to the original scope of work must be approved in writing and may result in additional charges. We will provide a change order detailing any modifications to the original agreement.

Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship and offer a warranty on our labor. The specific terms and duration of the warranty will be provided in your service agreement. Our warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage from natural disasters, accidents, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We are not responsible for manufacturer defects but will assist you in addressing warranty claims with suppliers when applicable.

Liability and Insurance

KXM Knoxville Masonry carries general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. We take all reasonable precautions to protect your property during work. However, we are not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage to underground utilities that are not properly marked.

You are responsible for ensuring that all underground utilities are marked before we begin excavation work. We recommend contacting your local utility marking service at least 48 hours before your scheduled project start date.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may result in a cancellation fee to cover our scheduling and preparation costs.

If work has already begun, you will be responsible for payment for all work completed and materials purchased up to the point of cancellation.

Permits and Regulations

We will inform you if your project requires permits from local authorities. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, obtaining necessary permits is your responsibility as the property owner. We will work with you to ensure all work meets local building codes and regulations.

Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns about our work or services, please contact us immediately so we can address the issue. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will work with you to resolve any problems. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
